MONO|CHROME

Now that Kylie's birth announcement is out of the way! Happy Black History month guys! I love the month of February because it represents two things I'm all about. Love and the beautiful culture of black people. This outfit was definitely inspired by the former because Valentine's day is literally around the corner, and whether or not you have a bae to celebrate with spread love and give love not just this month but the rest of the year because love is such a powerful tool for humanity.

I got this really cute cut-out sweater with open back from ASOS (linked below). To add contrast to the already blush pink sweater, I immediately knew I wanted to pair it with this deeper pink tone high waist cigarette pants that I got from Topshop during my New York trip last spring. Finish it off with sandals/pumps a shade between the sweater and the pants like this T-strap heels I also got from ASOS ages ago. Totally wasn't planned but I loved the monochrome finish.

This outfit can be worn to dinner if you live in a colder climate or you can trade in the pants for a cute mini skirt and some thigh-high boots if you're feeling a little flirty.
