Style Crush | Simone Biles #Blackgirlmagic

I have never been prouder to be a black girl than I was yesterday after watching Simone Biles complete and win the last leg of the womens individual gymnastics all round final at the Rio Janeiro Olympics game last night. It was such a smooth finish, you could tell it was destined to be, and above all it was her time to shine.

Simone was adopted by her grandparents at age 3 after moving around in foster homes, due to the instability of her birth mom to take care of her. At age 6, when her daycare teachers saw potential in her after she tried out gymnastics as part of the day-care field trip, they advised she continue in the field. Fast forward 10 years later Simone has bagged 14 medals at the Rio 2016 Olympics. 10 of them Gold.

When God has destined your success, no one can take it away from you!

Also congrats to team USA Simone Manuel and Ali Raisman on winning the 100m swimming freestyle and silver in the womens individual all round final respectively. #superproud
